I recently took my students to Farm Day, an annual event that introduces the kids in our rural school to some of the agricultural and wildlife opportunities that exist for them as they get older. It’s sometimes hard to explain farm culture because it’s so varied and so quickly becoming a thing of the past. These photos attempt to show how a group of thirteen kids learn about the community and culture they’re growing up in.
